Since its formation in 1978, the Group has sold millions of sets of professional and business radio equipment and systems.
CPS Telecom is engaged principally in the research and development, design, manufacture and distribution of radio communication equipment and its accessories.

1978
Concord Paging System Limited, one of the largest paging operations in Hong Kong was founded. The company became the first company in the world to use computers in the paging industry.
1990
CPS exclusively distributed communications products made and supplied by Marantz Japan. Millions of communication equipment and communcation systems were distributed and sold in China
1992
Entered into an equity joint venture in Beijing with Beijing Hua Xun Group and Fengai District Huaxiang Industrial Group
1992
Introduced the first trunking system in China
1995
Exclusively contracted to distribute MOTOROLA AP series two-way radio in China
1996
Exclusively contracted to distribute the Simoco MPT1327 system in China
2008
Contrad Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CPS Group has moved operations back into China
2009
Strategic alliance with Hwasin Group created to form Contrad (Huizhou) Limited in Huizhou, China - a wholly-owned subsidiary of CPS Group.
